Children's Ministries
It is our desire to minister to families at every stage of life.
Sunday School
We run a high quality Disciplemaking program (Sunday School) for children, youth, and adults.
We implement annual teacher training, and a screening program to assure a safe and abuse-free environment for children. We strive to provide great care for God's kids, to lead them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to equip them from an early age to live life with Christian values and a biblical worldview.
Nursery
A well equipped nursery is available for infants and toddlers (through age 3) during the worship service. Workers are carefully screened and an adequate number are present based on the number of children in attendance. There is also a separate play and nap area for infants.
Children's Church
In 2009, CVC began offering Children's Church during the regular worship service. Children from preschool (age 4) through grade 5 join together for singing, a Bible lesson, and a craft.
Vacation Bible School
During the summer of 2009, CVC also held it's first Vacation Bible School for children from age 4 through grade 5. This western themed event included Bible lessons, crafts, games, and snacks. With 102 registrations, VBS was well received and we hope to offer it during future summers also.
